The part in question is #6 just above the cluster. Must I remove the cluster? or will it just snap out of place? I figured someone here that has had the cluster out could tell me how this trim is fastened.

It seems like anyone and everyone who has the headliner replaced experiences the same problem. I had mine done and he did the same thing. It's not too bad or noticable but.........it still sucks. There are some trim piece covers for this but I still like the black. Mine will have to wait for now, but as I noted it's not horrible. My suggestion to EVERYONE who is, or is having theirs replaces it to cover the dash and console with protective covers, towels or other soft items to hopefully prevent this from happening.
