I plead guilty here. I question the intellect of anyone that doesn't love Two Harleys, I'm ashamed to admit it. However, and this shows my lack of intellect...I bought my Roadster DESPITE it's MB heritage. In fact, I was a bit disappointed that Chrysler didn't have enough confidence in its own North American build teams to make it themselves. I totally respect the German thing...but as a proud American I know we are more than capable...we just don't do it. We do have design down to a science...you are aware that Toyota's design studio is in Torrance, California...aren't you? And IMHO, Chrysler has the best looking cars right now. Look at the success of the Sebring, the PT Cruiser, the Caravan is a legend, the Dodge Magnum (awesome...and bringing the wagon style back in style), the only car that I think was a total mistake...and I am far outnumbered on this one...the 300 looks like someone took a nice car, rammed it into a wall, then backed up and did the same to the rear, then the designers smoothed the wrinkles and put a hot V8 Hemi in it. It is more Mercedes looking than Mercedes, these days. Again folks...just my opinion. The car mags gave it top honors...go figure. My other car is a 300M, a very nice replacement for my Eagle Vision. I grew up a Ford man, and my wife converted me...the only car she would let me buy here was the Sebring Convertible...which I did for our 25th.
