Sorry no Pic's the repair was done a couple of years ago.
No additional fabric was added. When they cut the opening for the rear window they fold over a small bit of the material to make a nice looking edge.
That folded over material is then glued to itself. It is that folded over edge that has the glue failure. The glass is actually attached to the folded edge material.
If you only have a small distance of failure as I did initially it is easy to overlook the point of failure.
