The problem with the secondary air pump is a simple one and not nearly as bad as it sounds because in 95% of the cases there is nothing broken except for a bad joint on the Control Relay Module.
Do a search on the forum for error code P0410 and plenty of information will pop up. If you know how to use a soldering iron you can fix this within 5 minutes as you only have to touch up the broken joint and voila, everything smooth again.
However, unfortunately I don't own a soldering iron and have the same problem - there is very nice guy on the forum who goes by the nickname "tighed1". He will fix the broken joint for you and inspect the other joints on the relay. All you have to do is send it to him and he will fix and send back for $25.
Btw, I probably should add that the secondary air problem does not affect the car in any way and the car is totally drivable but I'm just tired of the Check Engine light popping up every not and then!

You will like the forum, lots of great information on our cars and all good people on here! Enjoy!
thank you! i do love the red interior too, its a great accent to the black exterior. i did do the toothpaste method so far on the headlights because i dont have time to go to autozone to get a headlight restorer kit. but the toothpaste buffer and wax treatment made the lights 100x better lol

wow that's very helpful and i don't have the check engine light on right now, im assuming it goes on and off? but the seller did mention that it needs a look. i do have a soldering iron so maybe i can fix it. i'll look up more information about it (thanks for the code) and if i can't fix, i can send it to the recommended person. great to know it's not a pressing matter either.

i can't state it enough but this forum is a whole lot better than some of the previous cars (i've owned) forums and the people there lol

not to make this a how to fix my issues post but, if i may, ask a simple question: there are scratches on the top of my windshield silver piece. it's the one that runs perpendicular and inbetween the silver pillars that surround the front windshield. my question, is it simple to remove the long portion or just mask and respray?
