okay just to keep everyone in the loop and me as well. i just want to document some of the info that's been given to me.

so i checked out the RCM module and saw that the soldering doesnt need to be reapplied and is well.

next, i wanted to clear up some swirl marks. i learned much of my techniques from the subaru forums (previous owner of an 05 wrx) and boy did we treat our cars like porsches. naturally, they have some good info there. my simple process in order:
-wheel cleaner
-car wash with two grit guards using dishwashing detergent as soap
-mother's clay bar kit with lubricant
-used DA polishing tool with orange pads (cutting)
-meguire's ultimate compound
-used DA polishing tool with blue pads (polishing)
-turtle wax polishing compound
this is all i got to yesterday so i shold be finished today but as you're about to see, the results are already drastic. i couldnt get rid of ALL the swirls without wet sanding but majority is gone.
-next step is to put carnauba wax with black pad (finishing) and just detail the inside and im done!

FIRST washed the car

AFTER the claybar, felt so smooth already but the swirls remain
