Now I know that all batteries age and lose effectiveness with time, but these Varta batteries just seem bad, or fragile to me. They seem to be the battery of choice for Mercedes, but I am unimpressed with them.


I surmised in one of those other threads that if your problem has been ongoing for a while, you may as well just replace the Siren as opposed to soldering in new batteries. When these Vartas go they leak all over the board, and it doesn't take long for the acid to ruin the board.
