I arrived thinking the CL would hit mid 155's. However, after seeing a few GTR's, Corvettes, and CTS-V's running in the 140's, I knew the DA was horrific. I calculated it to be 5,280' when I ran my fastest of two runs.
Anyway, I ran 150 and 149. By the way, there was no power to run the box fans to cool the engine, so the air temps were pretty high. I wasn't about to bother with it though, as I wanted to hang out with family and friends. If I run next year, I'll have a working Killer Chiller so I won't have to bother with ice or fans and still have great air temps.
I ran 149 mph against a Weistec supercharged E55 which was running a 50 shot. I was on street tires with MS109 and stock air boxes (no filters). I took the ET win (
on street tires), but he trapped 3 MPH more.
Here's my 150 mph run against a supercharged Mustang. On this run I was using a DIY CAI setup without filters.
