Default Re: A potential nightmare averted… thank you Crossfire Forum! Crankshaft Position Sen

To all that have had this issue. Are there any fault codes that are associated with the the crankcase position sensor failure? Did this fix the problem long term?

Will the Bosch 003 153 27 28 part work on a 2004?

I am new to the forum and just purchased a 2004 CF with 15000 miles on it. So far it died once at the car wash, but started right back up and then yesterday on an exit ramp it died and would not start for about an hour. I am really scared to drive it now for fear that it will get me stranded somewhere. I have called the dealership and one wanted $450 to change this, I saw the write up on how to change it yourself and will definitley do that. Just want to make sure it is a long term fix.

Thanks
