$900? Sorry to be the one to inform you but you were bent over without even a reach around. For $900 you got what maybe 36" of 2.5" tubing, a muffler, a couple of tips and some welding. That and your shop is apparently about the looks & sound, not performance. An X-pipe is a better choice vs. and H-pipe, they are correct that it would do no good in the section of piping they added it would need to be closer to the engine. An X-pipe is for balancing the exhaust pulses more important than the sound is the additional scavenging and power it produces.

Lastly Magnaflo makes ok but not great mufflers.

While you deserve props for going unique you would have been much better served getting the Borla exhaust.
