Yes, even after GM bought them out. They seemed to have retained some of their heritage. The key is still between the seats on the floor and the window lift buttons are there as well. They fall easily at hand there.
I was a proud owner of a 900S sedan. I really loved it. It was no more quirky than the XFire.
My ex got it when we divorced and I took the M-B 240D. I got the better deal. The tranny in the Saab started crapping out.

I recalled it was very comfortable, handled well and once it was spooled up on the highway it would really start pouring on the speed. Certainly not terribly fast off the line but adequate.
