I'm jumping in here on some old posts. I have a leak from the center rear where the rear axles meet. I also have 48,000 miles on an 07 Coupe. Have not had the seal diagnosed but I'm told there are 3 possible seals that could be leaking. I have had the CF for 1.5 years and this will be the 2rd repair (skreem modual, valve cover gaskets and now rear seal). Is this typical due to age of vehicle or is this Mercedes SLK320 prone to repairs such as these? I have a 5 year Mopar warranty that I have used 2x. The seals are covered under warranty but after the 5 years (warranty) is up, who knows, I may sell the CF and find something else as a play car. Anyone else have frequency of repairs like this? I love the CF, the uniqueness but the repairs are no fun. Thanks for any input.
