This sad bit of news is what I clipped from the web regarding Morse ceramic pads from AutoZone.
bought morse ceramic brake pads (no address, no phone number, no paper work in or on box). i am a bilateral amputee below the knees bought pads from autozone kinston n.c. (252) 523-7934. i had pads installed by sauls collision center (a real nice guy, good work) the next day their was scrubbing noise coming from pads i took my truck back to mr. sauls. the backing plates came off the pads they looked like they had been glued together. they were cutting into the rotors but sauls said they would need to be replaced and the rotors turned again the pads were no good.'
Markr...we now have four things in common...we don't know squat how to install brakes...we both live in Ohio...we are both 51 years old...and we both own SSB roadsters!!! I too would like to change my brakes to the Rotex but have never installed brakes in my life so will just keep reading the forum and learn.
