We bought it for a "fun" car in Florida while we play "snowbirds". I've looked at more vintage, fun cars (Alfa's, P1800's,...), but unless it was a restored in all ways AND in my price range, I didn't want to get involved in a project...too old. So, I've been leaning more towards creature comforts over cool, vintage.

It'll be a driver while in Florida and then stored away for the summer down there. We have a couple "fun" cars here in Illinois to get us through those long summer months:--).

Whether we keep it to take to Florida will depend upon what my shop has to say about its condition and future issues. I was hoping to buy from an individual (but lost out on a couple), so I could find out if the rear window was replaced and whether the fuel/supercharger issue was dealt with, but no way now when passed through at least 2 auctions:-(.
