I'm new to this forum and have been having a great time reading the various threads. I've seen a few references to the 'mystery' hole behind the rear number plate. I can confirm that this hole is to give access to one of the many fixings for the rear bumper/fender. I know because I recently removed my bumper to fit reversing sensors.
