**UPDATE**

I just wanted to say thank you to all that responded to my dilemma. James you were correct about the part needed for repair. I ordered it half price what chrysler was charging and had my friend install it for free. Chrysler wanted $280.00 for install, $475 for part and $79.00 diagnostic. Wtf? I did have to give up $79.00 to them for a diagnostic charge.

Spent a little over $200.00 vs the $830.00 that dealership was quoting.

I'll take it
