Default Re: tire sizes to fit your car

Hello, I have a question for you guys. I'm sort of new to this forum and I've done a bit of searching and haven't found exactly what I'm looking for.

I have 2 stock rims on my 04 coupe that are cracked and 1 of them is leaking air pretty badly (have to use portable compressor to air it up sometimes twice or three times a day). Instead of just replacing the stock wheels I've decided to instead upgrade to some aftermarket wheels. I went with the black Mandrus Millenniums 18 x 8.5 (32mm offset) in the front and 19 x 9.5 (25mm offset) in the rear. Still awaiting shipment.

My question is will the tires on my stock wheels fit these new aftermarket wheels? Or will i have to buy a whole new set of tires for the new wheels.. note that the front tires have less than 1,000 miles on them and the rears have around 5,000. (front tire size = 225 40/ZR18... rear tire size = 255 35R19)

Sorry if my question has been answered elsewhere and I just didn't see it. I appreciate any help you guys can give.

p.s. I also read somewhere on the forums that with these wheels I would need Lug bolts approximately 1/2 inch shorter than stock, so I ordered some 12x1.5 bolts with 27mm shanks (thread length). Can anyone confirm if these will be a good fit or if they're too short or too long? I am not too knowledgeable on this subject.

Thanks,
Ryan
