Not sure what is going on here. Maybe the master cylinder went into bypass (defective).

I am not sure about that, had no idea that is how it should work. All I know is that the pedal went straight to the floor and absolutely no brakes. I have had brake lines fail on me way too many times, it felt exactly like that. It took about 30 to 45 seconds of pumping the brakes to get them back. After that they worked great like nothing was wrong.
