Agree, the Xf is a tightly integrated computer car.


That said I suspect a good tuner has a collection of stock bins.


Or you could just replace with a 305HP regular fuel 3.6 Pentastar (you might need to use the computer from a Wrangler (same trans)) or a computer from a 320SLK. Are several options that don't even need a computer but if going to throw away could pitch it this way.


An engine is an engine and really does not care whose name is on the valve covers.
