if you have changed the cps and it is shutting down, then I have to agree, time to check out the RCM.... two things can cut power, the CPS and RCM.... A bad coil would create a misfire, or rough idle.... Since you have gutted the maf, that could be some of the idle/accel problems as well....good luck
