Yes.....to all those questions..... there is an advantage to a crank over a pulley on HP, but very little and you spin the other pulleys faster as well unless you do a kit re-sizing the other pulleys as well. Yes there is a saving on weight but very little. Advantage is you don't spin the other pulleys faster. Cost is about the same. EC had failures early on with the pulleys....

The kit I am looking at has:
Eurocharged 181mm Crank Pulley
Water Pump Pulley
Idler Pulley with 19,000 RPM Bearing
OEM Crank Bolt
Cost aside would you go top end or bottom end? (all other supporting factors taken care of prior - IE CAI, AFR, Tune, etc...)
