I agree it will be a better ownership experience to get a lower mileage car. There are many other parts that have worn over those miles that can cost you a lot to replace.


For $1,500 to $2,500 more you should be able to get one in good condition from a private seller with under 100,000 miles on it. Tires are very expensive for these cars. Factor that into your purchase price.
