Yes you will need a single muffler to modify using the OEM tips
I once had the Ansa muffler on mine with the OEM tips welded and it looked perfect and sounded much like the Magnaflow

I don't believe the Ansa is available anywhere anymore though
It was a Universal fit muffler with the Ansa part # UN0827
You might be able to locate one somewhere searching that part number
