use a blow dryer to heat the letter/emblem... and a piece of fishing line or dental floss...once the letter/emblem is heated, slide the fishing line under the letter and move it back n forth until letter falls off. do NOT pull up on semi loosened letter... you may chip the paint on the sharp letter edge. use "goo gone" (available at any hardware store) on a towel to remove remaining adhesive. polish paint surface with any non-abrasive polish... then wax.

Andrew - Thanks for the instructions. I have an '05 base and have been wondering what to do. After looking at the pics, I think I may go for it. Debadge along with the whiter bulbs you posted (thanks) for the plate on a black car, it may look really cool.
