Default Too Much A/C?

Ok Modders...

Now that I have your attention I want to pose the question:
Do you feel that the CF has an exceptionally cold AC system?

Would it be possible to re-route some of that cooling power to cool the intake air for a colder charge?

Or is this a really stupid idea and I should probably try cutting down on the corn liquor?

Also I find that the AirBox approach to CIA systems is a good idea in general but right above the engine? I mean hot air does rise no? It seems that the stock configuration absorbs all the radiated heat coming off he valve cover.

Ok if you're not part of the solution...

Harkening back to the days of moving white lightning over state lines (and the beginning of NASCAR) wouldn't a ring type filter that sat above the hood be the perfect solution to this dilemma?

The coldest possible air coming into the engine would be directly from outside the engine compartment filtered from a cylinder type filter, residing above the hood, and directly into the TB?

Ok where does the AC fit into the equation? Well you could add a "heat pipe" type heatsink to the ac line and divert some of the cooling power to a cooling coil that resided inside the copius space of the ring filter! Just an idea.

Hell I might even put a tornado in there.

Any input?
