Not sure what cars you have but the stalk is for high/low/flash and not on/off. Also may have wipers and cruise.
My Reattae turn on with a button on the dash, Fiero with a rocker, XF and Jeep with a **** you turn and Judge has a **** you pull. Only commonality is all are on the left side of the dash.
ps have to be carefull withCrossie, have pulled to flash before and when let go it pops into high beam.
pps have had cars since the 60's and all that could you pulled to flash.
pps not saying I have had every possible car and most prior to this centrury were GM, Mazda, or Jaguars (no F*rds) so is possible some others have a rotary in the stalk, just have not seen one.
