Kenwood looks like a really nice unit that can match the dash illumination. Do you also have on order the special plug, antenna adapter, and keys to remove the stock radio ?

There is a long thread on installing a different radio that lists all of those extras.

Took me a couple of hours to install the Clarion M303 but everything works just fine. Now have also updated my 90 vert with a 702 (black dash, green illumination) so the buttons are the same.

Both of the Clarions are less expensive on Amazon than when I bought them.

BTW I use a really short (manual trans)

in the cigarette lighter. Many devices that have an USB input only provide 500 ma.
