The solder connections are a symptom of the larger issue. If you take off the little spring on the contact plate, and slip the plate out of the relay (copper wire stays attached), you will see that the contacts are sooted black and burned away. I suspect that the relay used is not rated high enough for the actual current draw. If the contacts are damaged bad enough, the fix is to replace the relay or the entire module.
