It was time for a repaint anyway, so I took it to a friend in the body repair/paint business and had it repaired and repainted back the original Daytona Blue for around $1200, as I recall.
( This also included painting my '68 Honda CB750 the same color )

It was a special order RS model, 4 speed, 327/350 HP.
The ironic part is that a few years later I sold it to a Highway Patrol officer who one week later drove it off a river bridge into the Alabama River just above Montgomery, it was ruled a suicide.
