One of the issues with the OEM cup holder (and there are MANY) is that it is located in a bad spot and is just kind of "in the way" when you're driving. Personally I wouldn't spend any time and money to fab up a new cup holder going in that same spot. I suggest that you seek an alternate solution. TONS of different cup holder suggestions / solutions are documented and archived here on the forum. Just search "cup holder" in the Google search box at the top of any page / start reading / choose an alternative solution that you like . . . Just Sayin' . . .
