not at all. the xfire/slk chassis is a very stiff chassis. the silk springs have said to be slightly softer than the xfire springs. shocks will also help with the ride. the koni adjustable will help some. swapping to 18" all around will help with sidewall height but will change the look and attitude of the car. remember the silk originally came with 17" rubber with a much taller sidewall
