That is a beetch of a problem, I can see both sides of the problem, but in all fairness I would think Rock Auto would admit liability and pay just so they do not get a bad name. It is cheaper to keep a customer than to replace him with another, sometimes that policy goes out the door when a buck has to be spent.

I would remind them that on this forum and their Face Book forum, if they have one, a bad comment costs them money and is a blotch on their
reputation.

It is possible that the bearing can be replaced on its own for less than $20.
