I installed the magnecor plug wires a while back. Before I installed them I read about others having problems with the wires coming loose. If you really push and take your time they will snap onto the spark plugs. My question is at the coils. I installed them with the coils off the valve covers because you have to really push. I never heard or felt the click so I tried again and found if you push very hard, they will snap in place but just barely. I have concerns that they will snap off while driving.


It seems the possible problem is the boots are just too thick. The boots on the top and bottom coil connections rub and bind up to each other. Has anyone tried trimming the outside rim of the plug boots to make them fit better or any other tips to keep them secure?
