Default Re: Supercharger Coolant Pump and Coolant

Sorry I've been away, yes I had heard taking out the headlight was necessary. Although it was a PAIN to get out, it did make the whole process much easier! The new pump has never faltered even at full throttle for extended periods, as far as fitting the bracket to hold it in place the 'Holy Metal' jig works very well and I ended up putting a small bolt through two of the holes once the pump was in place and secured it with a nut, it took all the slack out of the metal banding and there is no wiggle room. It worked better than expected actually!

For anyone looking to do this, even though it's a pain, the pump is much easier to work with when the headlight is removed.
Tape EVERYTHING when removing headlight assembly, the adjustment nuts on the bottom of the housing would wreck havoc on the paint!!!
If you're looking for a wiring harness (Yellow and leads seen in last picture) go DIRECTLY to Mercedes, I had talked to 4 Chrysler shops and nobody could help at all...

Provided you had all the required tools and supplies ahead of time (Unlike me) this can easily be completed in 2 hours max
