If this was not a Crossfire there would be other answers to this question;
  1. Some fault with the starter motor like sticky brushes.
  2. Bad cable to the starter motor.
  3. Bad connection at the battery that does not allow high amperage connections.

All of these things can happen on a Crossfire just as well as any other car. On a Crossfire the problem is often the RCM, but look for other problems as well, tunnel vision can be a waste of time and money. Look for the simple and cheapest causes first.
