I had the same happen to me a few weeks ago when a kid pulled out in front of me. The State Farm adjuster wrote down the name of a place here in Houston that removes the tire, checks the wheel for damage and true; then if all is good, they polish the aluminum lip to remove the curb rash and remount the tire. I'm supposed to get the car back this week, and will let you know how the results look.

You may want to check with your local Discount Tire or even try your insurance agent, so find a place close by.
