Re: 2006 Crossfire Limited Roadster - One Owner & 6,000 Miles!
I bought a low mileage (8,400 miles) SRT6 last year, at the time a nice clean SRT was running around 15 to 16k, I paid 19.3k but it was the right color and body for me. I've never thought I got a deal, but I've always felt I got a fantastic car. Now I like a deal as much as the next guy, but once you commit to buying a car, it's not an extra 3k you're paying that is your concern, it's the car, all you want is the car to be everything you thought it would be.
The only problem with buying a super low mileage car is that you hate to pile on the miles, I didn't think I would feel that way with mine, but I did/do. It's hard not too. It's easy to say that it won't bother you, but trust me, it will. It's not like buying a new car, heck, you buy those to drive, it's buying something special and what makes it special is the fact that there are no miles on it. Consequently, I ended up buying a little roadster, it has around 50k miles on it and I don't mind driving it anywhere and love it. Plus, deal wise, I got the Roadster, one owner, clean car fax, '06, lifetime warranty (whatever that's worth), six speed, in perfect condition for 6.5k, so now I've paid 25.8k for both cars; average price wise, I think I'm in the good deal territory on both.
Anyway, just my two cents. Bottomline, if this car flips your skirt, buy it, you will never regret paying a little more for it, but be prepared for the above stated conflict. You can always average the price down with a great deal on an SRT6.
