6 Speed Probs (Of course)
Not sure really where to post this as I don't see a trans section.
I've done the normal searching and all I really see are issues with the infamous 1 2 shift, or the difficulty of getting into reverse when its cold.
Now I've got an odd one. Yes I understand its cold and the viscosity of the trans fluid is basically paste. But why would the car begin to creep forward when placed into gear at a stoplight with the clutch pedal fully depressed?
Noticed this after having some difficultly placing the trans into first. Literally slamming it into place (but no grinding or noise). Then I noticed the creeping forward part ( if my foot is off the brake and on level ground)
This may sound odd, but is there an adjustment for the slave cylinder? As in, are the eyelets of the mount slotted for adjustment? I know its hydraulic, so the pedal (or armature) has nothing. But it truly seems as if my clutch is not fully disengaging.
Let me know your thoughts or if I'm not seeing a section on this that has been covered. Kind of losing my mind here as the XFire only has 75K miles on it now.
