It is now months after replacing the cabin filter (don't believe it was ever changed) and NO GASSING SMELL! Even after leaving the car closed up and turning on the fan, no smell.....Happy, happy, happy! Thanks to all who helped with your knowledge and experience. Now comes oil and filter change:-)
