Hello,
I have seen (and read) the many, many posts on resetting the FSS. I have also watched a youtube video, read the owner's manual, read the service manual - and read threads from Mercedes Forums.

I cannot get that darn thing to reset! I follow the procedure, it will chime at about the 10 second mark as stated, but the service mileage counter never resets. Currently it is sitting at -33800, so I assume the previous owner had no luck resetting it either.

My question is; if it passes a certain threshold (like 15,000 miles) - does it lock it out from the user interface reset and require the DRB 3 to complete a reset? Or should this procedure work every time regardless of miles?
