Thanks for the reply Bluecoupe. I will keep trying, maybe my timing is just off.

Another question - I found on the Mercedes site that it mattered if the door was open or not (door had to be closed). Nothing was mentioned (that I can find) in the owner's manual regarding this, I have tried it both ways without success. Do I have to hold the brake or something too? I am not exaggerating that I have made it chime at least 20 times with probably 100 tries over the last month.

Ahh well, thank you for the input. I will update if I get it to reset and will list if anything special was required. I am almost wondering if my "button 1" is not making contact correctly.
