When child #3 came along, my 1982 Jeep had to go since it only sat 4. It was a fun, Limited Edition in black with lots of chrome. Fast forward 16 years (to 2008) and said youngest child wanted a Jeep as her first car in high school. Go figure.
She ended up with a 2003 Audi A4 MT6 - much safer and nicer.
With 116k you won't get much. Keep it as a second, weekend car and continue enjoying it. Trust me, when the kid(s) leave home you'll be glad you kept that old toy.
