Pull the engine oil dipstick.
If it looks gray, or is not 100% engine oil, then you have a serious problem.
Could be as simple as a blown head gasket, and you MAY be able to salvage the engine.
I hate to be a downer, but if 2 gallons of water/antifreeze have been going through the engine for 2 weeks, I don't hold out much hope for it.
