Great first steps already voiced. I did the eurocharge tune, the MAF screen removal/elbow de-baffle, the 74mm TB upgrade, finishing with the EC retune. All three mods were done over time and each resulted in some form of performance increase without breaking a bank. I never stepped into the CAI as I have not found the generic I can live with. I know many like the needswings but I just cannot see that much $ for so little parts. That's just me, and nothing against a business supplying a product in this marketplace. I have to remind you I had to have the tune 'reflashed' after each mod (screen removal/elbow debaffle and the TB upgrade) but at the time I did these mods EC was reflashing as the mods occurred, for free. If I understand this subject lately, this free reflash doesn't come free anymore? I'm not quite sure what the story is on that and it would have to take EC to come in and clarify, which I haven't seen yet given all the posts I have read recently. If they do not reflash for free, I would set up for all the mods to be installed at once, then buy the tune. I think these mods should come first (with the CAI as well), they seem to be the most mentioned although not in any specific order. On another note, the dustless brake pads are absolutely necessary for a much cleaner set of at least the front rims (between washes/waxes). I used Centric Posi-Quiet Ceramics, no dust and great performance for me. Good luck!
