These were 10 year old tires with 17K on them. I didn't like the looks of all the cracks at the edge of the sidewall/start of the tread. Even partway down the sidewall you can see cracks. I have heard of guys who participate in "track days" that the organizer rules say no tires older then 5 years. If driving a Crossfire near what it is capable of tires that don't look like this are needed.
