OK, just for fun here are two sidewalls. One is from the 20th week of 2000, and the other from the 23rd week of 1987 (note: it's not on a car, just wanted the wheel and have not dismounted. (If it were from the 90s there would be a triangle).
Note the '87 is just starting to haze a bit on the sidewall.
