Well my Airboxes arrived last week...(
so did I after another couple of weeks away).
very tidy and clean - more than happy (
for $250 incl freight), given one of my last air boxes was damaged from a broken engine mount and a new one is going to tidy that up at least.
Anyways - just like to check a couple of things before I go whole hog on the install.
1) they didn't come with the intake pipes from the radiator....like these (
I knew this though)

....do I really need them? diameter and length wise - or can I reuse my old ones?
........Maybe I could use some silicon hose and make the whole thing (with devils horns) a lot wider...but thought I'd ask the question regardless.
If Yes...
please PM me if you know of a set or are willing to help me out with freight forward (to save the stupid prices the parts guys charge to Australia.
2)
the K&N filters that came with them are a little dark...but you can still see daylight through the mesh, so according to their website
here they should be fine.
.... The sales guy who sold me the boxes said they only had 2000miles on them and threw both of them in for $20.
............
I have since discovered there are home remedy alternatives to their cleaning and re-oiling products.
