You are a kid to me young lady.... If you do your own oil changes, under 100 bucks, if you can solder, chase down electrical problems, read thru all the maintenance threads on here, you will do fine. Especially under 10k for the car. I don't buy cars to have to work on them. Kind of takes the fun out of it. My work is to make them faster, handle better, the things that go wrong just get in the way, so we do the preventative maintenance when working in that area. I haven't had to do much to my SRT's so far, so I can only speak on that model. I am sure I will in due time. Just be ready for it. It can happen. But, you only hear about the problems on here. Many, like me, haven't had a lot of the problems. But we have owned ours for some time. You will be buying used and a cheap price. So, it's buyer beware in this case. Good luck... young lady...
