I have in the past advocated seizure of a vehicle driven by someone who does not have insurance. After a couple of very expensive fines paid and bailouts of cars, I bet insurance policies would increase dramatically. Goes along with the suggestion of a driver on drugs or drunk, sieze the car. Please don't whine about the poor guy who loaned his/her car to a friend and it isn't fair and blah blah... Sieze the car and after the word gets out, the people driving most likely will have insurance, and the drunks will lose all their friends and will be walking on the side of the road. Just think of ALL that revenue all those municipalities could realize!
