So I had my tune installed last week and have only had a chance to drive my car a few times since but my immediate reaction was that it felt the exact same or even a little bit slower. All the posts I've read about tunes on here it sounds like it made a big difference and im wondering why I haven't felt it. Also I thought the tune changed the tach limiter to 6500 from 6200 and my car seems to still be shifting at 6200. Im debating on going back to stock and then trying to download the tune again to see if it makes a difference. Any other suggestions?
I've done the EC Tune on my 6 and it took a few times out to really notice a difference. I did the throttle reset like Bill F suggests and it still took a few drives. Where I noticed a slight difference was in the ease to break the tires loose. Before the tune, I would have to kind of stomp on it to get them to break loose - now, I can roll into the throttle (albeit aggressively) and the back end will start to let go.
As far as our shift points changing, I was not aware that would happen on a standard re-tune, but I haven't really checked it out either. That might be a question for EC.
Keep driving it and do a throttle reset - it should come around.
