Hey George, don't feel like the lone stranger... I have a coupe and don't know anything about Velcro either. I have my entire headliner out and will be getting around to finding someone to replace the cloth (or maybe not still on the fence if I can DIY). So, I don't have a clue about Velcro in the headliner and this is the first I heard of it. Maybe, just maybe, someone used some Velcro to 'fix' it before on this particular auto?
Here is a picture of one that is for sale in Germany and the USA, and both have the Velcro in the center rear as does mine.
Now I'm stumped as to why some have it and others don't, so on those that don't have Velcro what holds the liner shell up to the inner roof in the rear center?
